This video documents Gary Christensen, co-founder of The American Society of Classical Realism (ASCR, 1988-2005) and author of Richard F. Lack: Catalogue Raisonné: 1943-1998 (published 2016), presenting Richard Lack with a book he put together that celebrates the impact which Mr. Lack had on the lives of his students. The video was filmed on Saturday September 30, 2000, on the deck of Mr. Christensen’s home in Mound, Minnesota.
The filming of the occasion was shared between Gary and his wife, Laurie Christensen.
Featured in the video are several of Mr. Lack’s former students and teachers who taught at Atelier Lack, which was incorporated in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a non-profit studio-school in 1971.
