These branded porte crayons have been manufactured offshore for Skill-Based Art: A Learning Resource for Art Students & Artist-Teachers (SBA)™.
Our porte crayons are designed to extend the usability of pencils, pastels, or charcoal sticks that have become too short to handle comfortably. They are especially well-suited for use with SBA Red Ochre Pieces™, allowing small fragments to be securely held within the ferrules for enhanced precision and control while drawing.
Each porte crayon is manufactured in China and features a lightweight, ergonomically designed plastic handle with an octagonal shape for improved grip. It is fitted with dual nickel-plated ferrules—approximately 9 mm in diameter on one end and 7.5 mm on the other. Both ends include a sliding ring mechanism, enabling secure placement and adjustment of the drawing medium.
The porte crayon measures 130 mm in length and is finished with our laser-etched branding on the handle.
By purchasing a porte crayon, you will be helping to support the expansion of Skill-Based Art: A Learning Resource for Art Students & Artist-Teachers (SBA)™.
