Interview with Gary Christensen
In this podcast, Emilio Longo interviews co-founder and former president of The American Society of Classical Realism (The ASCR) and long-time friend of Richard Lack for more than 25 years, Gary Christensen. Gary designed and produced all of The ASCR’s publications which include, Classical Realism Quarterly, Classical Realism Journal, numerous exhibition catalogues, and several books which promote the tradition of fine picture making. He is also the author of Richard F. Lack: Catalogue Raisonné: 1943-1998. Topics covered include, Gary’s career in commercial art, discovering Classical Realism and Mr. Lack, co-founding The ASCR, the process of publishing the Catalogue Raisonné, as well as Mr. Lack’s working methods and Gary’s personal recollection and memories of his time with Mr. Lack.
