Rosemary & Company Handmade Artists’ Brushes (The Alla Prima Oil Brush Set)

After spending hundreds of hours watching lots of fantastic Alla Prima painters, it was very evident that they were all going for a similar style of brush. Although this selection is not set with one specific artist in mind, it is a collaborative effort of many painters and the brushes that they reach for when trying to create an Alla Prima painting. I (Rosemary) should mention that this was not unique to portraiture, but also to still life and landscapes. This selection was thought out to be a rounded set, enabling the initial drawing stages right through to the rendering of the strokes towards the end.
